Torbay school remember
Remember the cool hokey pokey ice cream dribbling down your cheeks.
Remember puffing out your chest in pride as you marched to the front of the classroom to be awarded the certificate.
That was year 1.
Remember your tiny fingers straightening and your back straining while trying to reach your toes squealing out to ten in Maori.
Remember stealing a glance along with a smile to Stella as we burst a 2 + 2 bubble on the black coated Ipad.
That was year 2.
Remember sweeping a drop of sweat away while whizzing across the hall, competing in the beep test.
Remember feeling a wide grin spread across my face as we fitted the last coca cola bottle onto the recycled can cicada.
That was year 3.
Remember squinting to see in the blacker than black cave while crawling past the pale pink balloons.
Remember trying to look smart but failing when Danelle trotted past because I wanted to be cool like her when she arrived.
That was year 4.
Remember shoving the itchy uncomfortable wearable art dress over my skin ready to perform an phenomenal show.
Remember our brains spinning in frustration as we tried to come up with a mind blowing invention for the dragons den.
That was year 5
Remember treading excitedly across the center of the stage while we were performing THE MUSIC BOOK show.
Do you remember the phenomenal fun we had on the last year of torbay.
